These Chrome Sais are available with either rounded or octagon stems. Each sai weighs approx. 1.4 lbs. and has a black leather strip which has been wound around the handle. When grasping the blade, one can use the prongs for hooking techniques and the butt of the sai can be used in the same manner as a karate punch. To protect your arm from being struck, the length of the sai should be approx. 1\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' past the length of your elbow and the butt of the handle should be 1\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' beyond the tip of your index finger.
